Get picked up from Belize City airport and head into the city for vegan-friendly food and a mindfulness session at Om Shanti, followed by soca music and a taste of nightlife for those that want to experience contemporary Belizean culture (first day activities depend heavily on arrival time)

Day 2:  
[Accommodations: Parrot Nest Lodge in Bullet Tree village, just outside San Igancio in the Cayo district]
Dawn | Wake for an outdoor, seaside Vinyasa flow session, followed by a buffet breakfast
9:30 - 11:30 | Coast the Western highway into the jungles of Cayo, where you will see incredible biodiversity
Noon | Lunch in San Ignacio town center (choice of venue) 
12:30 | Visit Mayan ruins
2:00 | River tubing through villages along the Mopan, or take an optional horseback ride along the riverbank (not included)
3:00-6:30 | Free time
6:30 | Dinner at Parrot Nest (vegan and vegetarian dishes are their specialty, but they prepare great food of all kinds)

Day 3:

Dawn | Morning meditation session (45 min - 1 hour) followed by breakfast at Parrot Nest
8:30 - 11:30 | ATM cave tour or Barton Creek canoe tour for those interested (not included); free time for those not interested
11:30 | Lunch in San Ignacio for those not on ATM/Barton Creek tour (lunch is included in tour for those that go)
Noon - 3:30 | Monkey Falls visit for those not on ATM/Barton Creek tour; homemade kombucha and power yoga session at ashram next to Monkey Falls
3:30 - 6:00 | Free time
6:00 - 7:00 | Evening Hatha yoga session overlooking the Mopan river
7:00 | Dinner at Parrot Nest

Day 4:

Dawn | Awake with a morning Vinyasa flow class and enjoy a final meal at Parrot Nest
8:30 - 11:30 | Cruise the Hummingbird Highway towards the Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and Jaguar Preserve - the world's first and only reserve dedicated specifically to jaguars
11:30 | Lunch (vegetarian/vegan options available)
Noon - 1:00 | Hike Tiger Fern trail; learn about keystone flora and fauna in the region
1:00 - 3:30 | Marvel at the view from above the jungle; jump in the Tiger Fern double waterfall; camp atop Tiger Fern peak if you elect to spend the night in the jungle (one guide will camp and one will take participants to the cottages, unless all participants decide to camp or all decide to stay in cottages)
3:30 - 5:00 | Free time
5:00 - 6:00 | Mindfulness meditation practice, either on top of mountain for those camping, or on a jungle deck near cottages
6:00 | Dinner (coconut rice and vegetables cooked over a campfire or home-cooked style food at the cottages)
7:00 - 9:00 | Free time
9:00 - 9:45 | Experience true jungle acoustics on a night hike

Day 5:

Dawn: Begin the day with a sunrise power flow overlooking the jungle on a mountaintop, or surrounded by nature at the base of the mountain; enjoy a leisurely breakfast before packing up camp and hiking down, or relax near the cottages
9:00 | River tubing through pristine jungle
10:00 | Exit the shallow river and hike to Ben's Bluff waterfall to slide down a natural waterslide, swing on vines, learn about important ecosystem services, learn how to survive off cohune nuts and termites
1:00 | Arrive at Maya Center for lunch and settle in to new accommodations; lunch will be traditional Mayan food cooked by Aurora Saqui, who is famous in Belize for her healing, Mayan culture preservation, and cooking (she wrote a cookbook that got her invited all over the world to share)
1:30 - 3:00 | Free time
3:00 | Tortilla and chocolate making from scratch, led by Aurora
5:00 | Energy healing session and stories of Aurora's great uncle, the most famous healer in Belize's history (optional)
6:00 | Dinner with Aurora (vegan/vegetarian options available)
7:00 - 8:00 | Reflections, informal discussions on conservation with local and international experts, debrief on following day

Day 6:

Dawn | Yoga surrounded by Mayan cultural artifacts with optional energy healing

8:30 - 11:30 | Retrace the Hummingbird and Western Highways to Belize City
11:30 | Lunch at Om Shanti or BTL park, depending on traffic
Noon - 1:00 | High-speed ferry to the island of Caye Caulker, a jewel in the Caribbean Sea
1:00 - 5:00 | Wander the island and take in all the sights and sounds
5:00 | Sunset mindfulness exercise on the lagoon side of the island
6:30 | Set out for dinner; enjoy the famous seafood or seek out the hidden vegan options with local advice
Rest of night | Reflections on the jungle, species list comparisons, debrief for the following day

Day 7:

Dawn: Sunrise yoga on the private dock at The Club at Caye Caulker, followed by the best breakfast possible: fry jacks
9:00 - Noon | Snorkel the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef; learn how to identify reef fish; visit 3 protected areas and contribute to their protection; swim with nurse sharks and stingrays at Shark Ray Alley (snacks and water provided)
Noon - 1:00 | Lunch at a local spot, with vegetarian and vegan options in mind
1:00 - 5:00 | Free time to soak in the sun and explore the island
5:00 - 6:00 | Sunset canoe/kayak ride or mindfulness session on the dock overlooking the horizon
6:00 - 7:00 | Free time
7:00 | Dinner at Juan's, a great seafood place with arguably the best vegan food on the island
Rest of evening | Free time; relax near the water or experience some of the laid-back nightlife of the island

Day 8:

Dawn: Sunrise yoga on the dock; fry jacks to follow
8:30 - Noon | Free time in the sun
Noon | Lunch, beachside
12:30 - 4:00 | Free time to enjoy the last day on the island
4:00 - 5:00 | Mindfulness session or Kundalini yoga (depending on group mood)
5:00 | Sunset at the Split or optional sunset cruise (not included)
7:00 | Final dinner, at one of the beachside cookout spots (vegan/vegetarian options if necessary)
Rest of night | Reflections on entire trip; species count; conservation review; free time for a final drink 

Day 9: 
Dawn: Enjoy one last sunrise yoga session and take one last dip in the Caribbean Sea before returning to the mainland
9:00 - 10:00 | Traverse the seas on the ferry back to Belize City
Rest of day | Enjoy harbour views, vegan-friendly treats and maybe even squeeze in a final yoga class at Om Shanti, depending on when your flight is schedule to depart (airport shuttle is included; leaves whenever you need)
